Today i would like to share about the top social media in this era....it is about facebook and twitter....
Facebook founded in year 2004, by the five Harvard University student, Mark Zuckerberg, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. Facebook was limit it user for Harvard student at the first time, and it was expanded to Ivy League and Stanford University. Facebook now a day can be used by all the people around the world that above 13 years old.
Twitter was created by Jack Dorsey Evan Williams, Biz Stone and Noah Glass in 2006. Since the twitter were born, it was quite popular among the social online users. Twitter is a little bit simple and easy to handle than others social media website that have been created at that time.
Twitter and Facebook now are known as the most popular social network that have been created. Facebook is usually used by people to share the status of them for the whole day, while twitter was a little bit like a spreading an sms to the world.
The Facebook and Twitter have their own way to protect the users privacy. While using the facebook we can control each of our information, status, pictures and videos privacy. You can select who can view those thing, such as everyone, friend of your friend, your friend, people that you just tag and also you can make it not available for everyone.
In twitter, we can set the privacy at the setting, you can set to protect your tweet at the privacy setting and it will protect you by make your tweet just available for your followers. It also make people want to follow your tweet ask for your permission to follow you.
Facebook is the place where you can meet new people by add them as your friend and follows them, while at the twitter you can just follow them and you cant add other as a friend.
In facebook, you can create a page for spread the message and giving the information. The page will be create by other Facebook user as admin. Facebook user also can create group by adding others to join that group. In twitter, you cant create a group or a page. the concept of twitter were just a little bit like page in an facebook where people just can share and favorite the tweet, where you are the own admin.
Today, there are many and much more apps or website that that have been create such as Instagram, WhatsApp, WeChat, Viber, BeTalk and so on. All of this apps can be use in smartphone. Before the facebook and twitter there were many social media that have been create such as Tagged, Myspace and Friendster.
They all using the different ways, but with the same target. To connect people all around the world.
