Health: Healthy gadget for your better life

1#Finis Neptune
In almost every sport, music can be a rather powerful motivation to run or cycle that extra mile but never to swim that extra lap, until now. Like Sportiiiis, the Finis Neptune is secured onto the user’s eyewear, in this case, swimming goggles. This device uses bone conduction audio to relay music to the user’s ears, without the need for ear buds.

The device also makes music louder and clearer when submerged underwater. It also comes with a built-in 4GB of storage space, a rechargeable battery that lasts 8 hours and an OLED screen with music controls.

2#Misfit Shine
It’s a bracelet, a pendant, and can also fit in your pocket. The Misfit Shine is an activity tracker that lets you track your movements and activities to help you achieve goals set on your iOS device. Due to its design you can strap it on an arm and dive in for a lap with no worries – it is waterproof!

Check in on your progress by just tapping the LED-lit face. It also doubles as a watch and works on coin batteries which can last for months at a time.

3#Sportiiiis
Into cycling? Checking on your stats while you cycle is not only a hassle but may also be dangeruos. Track your heart rate safely and accurately with Sportiiiis. The simple Head-Up Display (HUD) has 6 LED to indicate your heart rate. Cyclists can mount it on their sunglasses and receive their stats via voice prompts which relay your speed, heart rate, cadence and power.

Its company does sell its own line of monitors that work together with, Sportiiiis but it is also compatible with products from other manufacturers.
4#ISpO2 Pulse Oximeter
This device plugs into older iOS devices using the 30-pin connector to track and trend your blood oxygenation levels, pulse rate and Perfusion Index, particularly if you are a sportsperson. The product is not intended for medical use and is more for sports and aviation tracking.

This means that this is a great and portable tool for sports players and sports teams that travel to play. The data from the device can be exported and kept in the athlete’s historyfor their reference or their coach’s.
5#HAPIfork
Can’t really manage your portions by sheer willpower? HAPIfork is a gadget that can help you reduce your eating pace. The sensors notify you through tiny vibrations when you’re ‘speeding’. It can also track your eating duration, the amount and intervals of ‘fork servings’ per minute.

All your data can be tracked with the accompanying app and transferred with a mini USB. The ‘brain’ of the HAPIfork is hidden in the body but can be removed for safe washing.

Application: get your android to Highest Performance

Android isn't as controlled and regulated as its iOS competitor. No matter what version of the OS you're running, it's basically a tinkerer's dream. It allows users to tweak and optimize the system's performance from A to Z. From cache cleaner to junk file hunters, CPU overclocking tools and app disablers, here are eight Android tools that you can use to get more out of your system.

1. Clean Master (Free)

Cheetah Mobile's Clean Master comes with a Junk Files tool for cleaning your phone's app and system cache as well as temp files. It also sports a memory saving Phone Boost tool, an app manager and antivirus tool. While you can probably skip the task-killer-like features of Phone Boost, the Junk File tool is great at cleaning out widowed and temporary files, as well as cleaning out your system cache to free up phone storage. The app manager allows users to backup APKs, move apps to the SD card and uninstall apps. A surprising strong point is Clean Master's antivirus tool, which scored highly in AV-TEST's latest mobile antivirus survey.

2.DU Speed Booster (Free)

Another comparable all-in-one Android optimization tool is DU Speed Booster, which comes with a Trash Cleaner for app cache and junk file cleaning, a one-touch accelerator, app manager, antivirus, a privacy advisor and built-in internet speed test. Again, the benefits of task-killing with accelerators are dubious, DU Speed Booster's junk file / cache cleaner is a great way to free up internal storage space, and the app manager and other tools are also solid extras.

3. SD Maid (Free)

SD Maid is a storage maintenance app designed to free up space on your SD Card or internal storage by searching for widowed files and folders left behind by uninstalled apps. In addition, it also doubles as a file manager. The app is a great way to clean up some drive space, and is also great for periodic system maintenance. The free version is a perfectly serviceable app, but more options can be unlocked by purchasing an unlock key.

4. CCleaner (Free)

Piriform's CCleaner is one of the best PC maintenance tools for Windows machines, and now, it's also gone mobile with an Android app that's the perfect tool to help you clean the crap out of your system. Like its desktop sibling, CCleaner for Android is a multipurpose cleaning tool that can clean out your application cache, download folders, browser history, and other temporary files, as well as optionally clean your call and SMS log selectively or in bulk. In addition to its fast, ad-free cleaning experience, CCleaner also comes with an app manager, CPU, RAM and storage meters, as well as battery and temperature tools.

5. CPU Tuner (requires root) (Free)

CPU Tuner allows you to monitor and tweak your CPU's performance. Customize the settings for your CPU governor, underclock to save battery, overclock to improve performance, and set various trigger-based performance profiles to ensure your CPU performs just the way you want. Again, a little care and research as to what your hardware can tolerate is important, especially if you choose to overclock. Also, unlike similar applications (SetCPU, for example), CPU Tuner is free on the Google Play market.

6. 3c Toolbox / Android Tuner (requires root) (Free)

3c Toolbox, formerly known as Android Tuner, provides users with a ton of diagnostic and tweaking tools that a savvy user can utilize to diagnose and improve the health of their system. The toolbox includes a task manager to manage (or kill) your apps, backup or restore APKs, CPU governor and voltage tweaks, system settings such as SD cache size or just view a wealth of diagnostic data. As with any app that tinkers with system settings, be careful of what you tinker with and do your research before changing anything.

7. BetterBatteryStats ($2.89) (requires root)

While the Android settings menu provides users with some insight on battery status and how much energy is in use, technically oriented users can get far more comprehensive information with apps like BetterBatteryStats. Plus, BBS has good tools for tracking apps that do "partial wakelocks" that prevent the device from entering battery-saving sleep mode. If you suspect that some of your apps are chewing through your battery life or are preventing your phone from properly entering sleep mode, BBS can be a great tool to help.

8. Greenify (requires root) (Free)

Greenify basically puts an app in a state of hibernation, unable to access system resources, bandwidth or run background processes. However, Greenify allows you to run an app normally in the foreground when explicitly called by the user without any extra fuss. If you've got memory or battery hogs that keep draining resources in the background, don't bother with a task-killer when you can just greenify it. Just don't do that to your alarm clock or messenger, unless you want them to stop working.

GoogleGlass? Try this FASHIONABLE GOOGLEGLASS by SONY

Sony has just announced a new attachable display module that can turn a "pair of fashionable glasses, goggles, sunglasses, or other type of eyewear" into smartglasses. And, yes, it's completely detachable so you can remove it whenever you want to. This module is comprised of a control board where the Bluetooth and WiFi sensors, processor and other components live, along with a 640x400 OLED microdisplay that serves as your screen. The company sees a long list of potential applications for sports, work and entertainment, so it plans to provide "partner organizations" with an SDK.

Aside from software developing partners, we reckon there could well be hardware makers looking to incorporate the module in their own devices. Sony's camera sensors, for instance, are found in Apple's iPhones. That's why we wouldn't be entirely surprised if Google chooses this single-lens display for its next-gen Glass eyewear -- after all, Mountain View's already ditching TI's OMAP processor for Intel -- even though this will barely improve the device's 640x360 resolution. Sony plans to start mass production in 2015, so we'll likely hear about new devices equipped with this module in a year or two

Application: hard to wake up in the morning? TRY THIS

It took 9 months to be approved, but, Wakie — the ‘social alarm clock’ that lets you wake up (and be woken up by) strangers — has finally arrived on iOS. Launched originally in Russia as a website back in 2011, before being rebuilt and debuting on Windows Phone and Android earlier this year, the app is designed to replace your phone’s alarm clock with a call from a real person: Namely, another member of the Wakie community.

Most people hate alarm clocks, billions of people feel unhappy every day with these classic ringers and ding-congers. It make people happy with the voice of friendly strangers from all over the world who try to make you smile in the morning. A lot of people who use this service say that they started to love mornings.

For those who want to be woken up — dubbed ‘Sleepyheads’ — Wakie works in a similar way to any other alarm clock. You simply set the time and day you want the alarm to go off. However, when it’s time to be woken up, the app anonymously connects you to a call from another user. You then get around a minute to talk and be woken up. If no ‘Wakie’ is available, the app will play an automated message instead.

Research shows that a 1 minute talk to a stranger wakes your brain up with a 99 per cent guarantee. When someone asks you questions in the morning your brain has to wake up to answer. Also you try to be kind, you try to turn on your social pattern of behaviour. After the call you can’t sleep anymore even if you had a short sleep.”

The first person I connected with through the app was an American female who, unsurprisingly but slightly disconcertingly, sounded as though she’d only just woken up. Then it dawned on me: that’s because she had, and I was the person responsible. Despite having trouble understanding her — she was half asleep after all — we persevered for the remaining 45 seconds or so until the app abruptly cut us off.

Not deterred by the awkwardness of my first attempt at being a ‘Wakie’, I rolled the dice again. This time I was connected to an American male who was chirpy to say the least. “I’m here to wake you up,” I said, a lot more confidently. “Thanks man!” he replied, as if perhaps he’d been awake for hours. Either way, I was definitely getting the hang of this.

My third call was with an Irish female who later told me she was 22 years old and had used the app on a couple of occasions, both as a ‘Wakie’ and as a ‘Sleepyhead’. This time I fessed up to being a journalist and — aware that we only had a minute — asked her what she made of the concept. She said it was fun and had already led to a number of interesting conversations and voicemail messages (more times than not, the person asleep doesn’t answer and their phone eventually goes to voicemail, something Wakie is planning to address). Given the anonymous nature of the app, I also asked her if she had ever encountered any abuse. No, she said, the Wakie community had thus far remained friendly.

After our call, ‘Natalie’ posted a message on Wakie’s in-app forum, a place where users can converse and, potentially, try to connect with the person they have just spoken to. Her message was addressed to “English journalist dude”, giving me (or any other member of the community) a chance to reply. This also hints at where the app’s future lies.

A paid-for ‘Premium’ version of Wakie is in the works that will extend the talk time for each wake up call to 5 minutes, and allow you to specify the gender of the person you are connected to and see their profile after the call, depending on their individual privacy settings.

“Also we are working on adding clever robo-calls. You will have an ability to set an alarm clock just for you: it will tell you the weather in your city, news from your industry, interesting facts and much more,” adds Adjamian. “Another thing that we’ve already tested is a Celebrity alarm clock. You can buy an alarm clock of your idol and get different pre-recorded calls from him every day. Celebrities promote their alarm clocks on their social network pages. The revenue is shared.”

Lattest by Xiaomi: air purifier Xiaomi

Xiaomi latest tech product won’t have Apple fans baying and cursing about patents. That’s because it is an air purifier.

If you live in Beijing or other parts of China/Asia/the world that have major pollution problems, then Xiaomi wants to have you (and your lungs) covered.

Its Mi Air Purifier is a China-only product at this point, as is the case with a lot of Xiaomi tech when first launched. If you’re on the mainland, it will set you back 899 RMB, that’s just under US$150.

As purifiers go it looks pretty sleek. Xiaomi says the dual fan and four air duct system can produce 10,000 liters of clean air per minute, while it can filter out 99.99 percent of thedangerous PM2.5 air particles.

As you’d expect, it comes with an accompanying remote control app which also sends alerts to your phone. For example, it will remind you when a replacement filter (199 RMB / US$32) is needed.

Diversifying Its Product Line

Smartphones are what Xiaomi is best known for, it is the third largest in the world based on shipment numbers, but the company has a growing line of other products too.

In addition to this air purifier, it offers $20 routers, a blood pressure measurement kit, a smart TV, a tablet device, battery packs, and a fitness band among others tech gizmos. It seems likely we’ll be able to add ‘smartwatch’ to that list too, sometime soon.

That expansion is no coincidence or mere dalliance. The company is very much out to diversify its product range and reuse its business formula in other areas.

Xiaomi wants to mimic its success with its Mi smartphones with other hardware. It has already invested and partnered with a range of companies — including U.S. hardware startup Misfit most recently — and it reportedly has the funding and interest to pursue other strategic investments and acquisitions outside of smartphones.

Gadget : Spire? hangging it easily

Entrepreneurs are some of the most stressed-out people you’ll ever meet. If left to fester, the constant worry and pressure of running your own business can spiral into a nerve-thrashing mess of anxiety, depression and despair. It’s not pretty.

But Spire, an ambitious zen master for your pocket, sure is -- in looks and in concept. Clipping onto your belt, or your underwear or bra, Spire is a stone-shaped activity tracker like a Fitbit Zip -- only it also measures something equally as important to your health as footsteps. It measures your state of mind, or so its makers claim.

Using the real-time breathing pattern data it constantly collects and crunches, Spire gently informs you of how tense, distracted or just plain freaked out you are. Then -- here’s the coolest part -- it gently nudges you to focus, breathe deeply and calm down. And not in a pushy way either. It sends a series of soothing suggestions and meditations directly to your smartphone.

Or, should you fall into a funk, a lethargic slump, Spire turns into a motivational coach, goading you to get up and get moving.

"It's very hard to stay mindful throughout our chaotic and always connected day," Spire co-founder and CEO Jonathan Palley told The Huffington Post. "The design of the Spire experience is not to interrupt you every time you're tense, but to bring mindfulness and awareness streaks of tension/focus/calm within this chaos."

The wireless-charging gizmo costs $150 and works with a free iPhone app (an Android app is on the way) that pings you with pacifying notifications all day long. Sometimes it too many notifications, according to one re/code reviewer who reported that the Spire was glitchy. Wireless connectivity was an issue and so was battery life, during her test. Spire said it’s working on it and should have the kinks worked out with updates to its hardware and software.

GADGET: GOPro Hero. Capture The Extream Ways

Did you like the out door game or extream activity? Every moment that you do is more meaningful if you can capture it. It is hard to take a snap in certain place. Not every camera can do the job like GOPRO HERO.

As of October 2014 GoPro sells three fixed-lens cameras, two without viewfinders and one including a touchscreen viewfinder. A 2-bit LCD on the front of the camera allows access to its menu system, which is controlled by the front and top shutter buttons. The HERO4 Black have dimensions of 41mm × 59mm × 30 mm and weighs 88 grams (152 grams with housing). Still images from 5 to 12 megapixels can be captured. The cameras are sold with a clear polycarbonate HD Housing with a glass lens that is rated shockproof and waterproof to 131 feet (40 m), with a quick-release buckle on the top and threads at the bottom to attach to all of the GoPro mounts. The housing has metal buttons that connect to the camera's controls and has a "skeleton" backdoor option to allow audio recording when the camera is used with a mount but without the need to be watertight or shockproof. The edition of Hero is HD HERO, HD HERO 2, HERO 3, HERO 3+, HERO 4

In September 2014 GoPro announced the HERO4, available in Black Edition and Silver Edition, which replace their respective Hero3+ generation predecessors. The Hero, a budget camera, was also announced.

The HERO4 Black Edition has a 12mp CMOS and a f/2.8 fixed maximum aperture. It adds Bluetooth connectivity, and a new processor claimed by GoPro to be twice as fast as that of the HERO3+ Black Edition, doubling the frame rates in most resolutions. The HERO4 Black Edition can record 4K video at a frame rate of 24, 25 and 30 fps In Superview mode, 4k is only possible at 25 fps. Many other rates and resolutions are available. The Hero4 Black Edition still shoots stills at a maximum of 12MP with a maximum burst rate of 30 fps. With Wi-Fi disabled at 4k/30 the Hero4 Black Edition battery life is claimed by GoPro to be 65 minutes, increasing to a maximum of 1h 50' at 720p/120. The HERO4 Black battery is in a different form factor than its predecessors. Initial side-by-side comparisons of HERO3+ and HERO4 Black edition video results suggest that the newer model has more detail at long range, and similar performance at close range.

The Hero4 Silver Edition is basically a Hero3+ Black with the addition of a touch screen, the first GoPro with this. The HERO4 Silver supports Wi-Fi and also includes Bluetooth as in the HERO4 Black.

The Hero4 models maintains the H.264 video codec of previous versions and MP4 file formats. GoPro claims the mono microphone in both the Black and Silver Editions have twice the dynamic range of the Hero3+, and that the HERO4 Black and Silver Editions have improved low light performance.

The GoPro HERO was released at the same time as the HERO4, with a 5MP still camera and the same video resolutions as the HERO3 White Edition, carried over from the HD HERO model of 2010

GAMES: MMORPG?? what is that?

Massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGs) blend the genres of role-playing video games and massively multiplayer online games, possibly in the form of web browser-based games, in which a very large number of players interact with one another within a virtual world.

As in all RPGs, the player assume the role of a character (often in a fantasy world or science-fiction world) and takes control over many of that character's actions. MMORPGs are distinguished from single-player or small multi-player online RPGs by the number of players able to interact together, and by the game's persistent world (usually hosted by the game's publisher), which continues to exist and evolve while the player is offline and away from the game.

Usually the MMO is played using the game engine such as GARENA and STEAM. You must created an account by giving your email to them. This game engine can give you connection to all gamers all around the world.

Since the interactions between MMORPG players are real, even if the environments are virtual, psychologists and sociologists are able to use MMORPGs as tools for academic research. Sherry Turkle, a clinical psychologist, has conducted interviews with computer users including game-players. Turkle found that many people have expanded their emotional range by exploring the many different roles (including gender identities) that MMORPGs allow a person to explore.

Many players report that the emotions they feel while playing an MMORPG are very strong, to the extent that 8.7% of male and 23.2% of female players in a statistical study have had an online wedding. Other researchers have found that the enjoyment of a game is directly related to the social organization of a game, ranging from brief encounters between players to highly organized play in structured groups.

PowerBank? What we need to choose

In present day, we use electronic devices on day-to-day basis, such as our mobile phones, tablets. The problem with these so powerful devices we are using is that it consumes a lot of energy, and they could drain their own batteries in such a short time. Of course, without energy, these so smart, and so expensive de
vices are useless and worth as much as paperweights. So, power bank can serve this purpose perfectly. It could energize your devices back to life and prolong the usage of your devices for hours.

The question is 'how do you know which one is the right power bank for you?

SEE IT BEFORE BUY A POWER BANK
1. Your device battery size.
You can take note of this information from your package or search on the internet about your device.
Usually this information will be in battery section, which mentions the size of your device's battery.

2. Charger specifications.

Charger specification should located on usb adapter bundled with your device. The information we are looking for is the output voltage and output current of the adapter.

Buying a power bank.
1) The power ba nk we buy should have at least the same size as our device battery to ensure at least 1-full charge for your device.

2) The output voltage of the power bank should have output voltage and current equal or higher than your device's charger specification.

In addition to those two specification above, I recommend looking for power bank with addition charging cable and connector adapters, because it could help when you need charging other devices in unexpected situation.
